Why do the contents settle to the bottom of the bottle?

Healthy Pepper blends together fresh, all-natural ingredients.  As a result, some of our ingredients will sometimes settle on the bottom of the bottle.  This is normal and we recommend shaking the bottle well before each use.

Should I refrigerate my hot sauce?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  While it is not required, we recommend refrigerating Healthy Pepper Hot Sauce to prolong it's flavor and shelf life.

How long does your hot sauce last?

Accepted Answer

If you keep your bottle of Healthy Pepper Hot Sauce refrigerated, it will last up to 3-years.  The apple cider vinegar acts as a natural preservative and contains key properties that inhibit bacterial growth.
 
That said, it will not last forever and while it will not spoil or become dangerous to consume, it will start to lose flavor over time.

Can I cook with Healthy Pepper Hot Sauce?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  Our hot sauce compliments almost every meal from eggs and sandwiches to salads, fish and meats.  If you are cooking with our hot sauce in a frying pan, we recommend doing so in a ventilated space as the fumes from the cooked pepper can sting your eyes.
